It is still common to encounter areas, villages without high speed internet!
................................... ...................................... ..............
Before buying a ruin, and if you need a modern internet you should pay particular attention to the ADSL coverage area where it is located.
- because having a telephone is sometimes possible, but in terms of ADSL even low flow (1, 2 MB) must your ruin is near a node connection.
- If you are too far you will not have ADSL. And probably for a good time considering the price it costs the facility!
- If you are aware that if you only have the dish for satellite internet.
But that will not let you surf a''normal''.
Because it is often unlimited connection time but not in consumption.
If you watch videos or download pictures, movies you will arrive quickly to the monthly limit and your speed will be (the best) increasingly reduced until the month after .. .
How to tell if your ruin is covered by ADSL?
Curiously it is a little complicated ...
Personally I start by searching on the internet (the yellow pages: http://www.pagesjaunes.fr/ ) number of the village hall.
Then I use this number for the test online through other websites specializing in eligibility tests for ADSL:
careful to uncheck the boxes offering remind you for advice, receive documentation. Since you do the test with a number that is not yours does not make anything and take the time to read not to be bothered that others by your lack of foresight. Some sites are indeed a bit''aggressive''but other commercially tick one box defaults to redial a number you are testing ...
Alternatively you can call your current broadband operator and ask about the area where the ruins that you want to buy.
Map white areas ADSL (not ADSL possible):
